Gin isn’t the only thing in Stephen Colbert’s desk — it turns out Jon Stewart has been hiding in there for months now, too.
In the clip above, The Late Show host’s monologue is interrupting by a sudden knocking, which leads to him discovering a panicked, iPad-confined Stewart in a tiny drawer.
“I’m so sorry,” says Colbert. “I’ve kept the drawer closed for months now to keep the coronavirus away from you.”
With Stewart liberated, the two waste no time in comparing their new, stay-at-home haircuts.
“That is a lush mane,” says Stewart. “We are rocking lush manes. I’m going full Einstein, but I think you might be going full Shining.”
